Community Guidelines
Last updated: 2 October 2026 · What we allow and how we enforce it
Hectic Music is a place for creative expression. These guidelines sit alongside our Terms and apply to videos, comments, live chat, profiles and anything else you post.
1. Keep people safe
- Violence and threats: no threats, incitement to violence, or graphic violence shown for shock. No terrorist content or glorification of terrorism.
- Harassment and hate: critique ideas, not people. No targeted harassment, stalking, or content that attacks people for protected characteristics.
- Self-harm: no content that encourages or promotes self-harm, suicide or eating disorders.
- Children: zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation or abuse. We report it to the authorities.
- Sexual content: no sexual violence or non-consensual intimate images (including threats to share them).
2. Be honest
- Do not impersonate others or run scams, fraud or deceptive links.
- Do not run coordinated spam or manipulate views, likes or subscriptions.
- Only upload what you own or have the right to share; see our Copyright & DMCA page.
3. Respect the service
No spam, malware, or attempts to evade moderation or break the Service. No illegal activity or content that is illegal in the UK.
4. How we enforce
We try to explain before we escalate. Depending on severity we may hide or remove content, warn you, limit features, or suspend or terminate your account. The most serious content, such as child sexual abuse material, leads to immediate removal and possible reporting to law enforcement. When we act on your content or account we will tell you what happened and why, unless the law prevents it. You can appeal.
5. Reporting
See something that breaks these rules? Follow the steps on Safety & Reporting or email support@hecticmusic.co.uk. You can also block a user from their channel page.
